ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual Meeting and Dinner of the Fairfield West Chapter will be held at Bertucci's Restaurant at 833 Post Road East in Westport on Sunday, March 9. We will meet for social hour at 4 p.m. and dinner at 5.
Please join our colleagues on Sunday, March 9 at Bertucci's. The dinner will be "dutch treat" although we will supply the hors d'oeuvres. Bertucci's is on the Post Road right the end of the Sherwood Island Connector (exit 18 on I-95). PEDALS, PIPES & PIZZA!
Our next Chapter event, a "Pedals Pipes and Pizza", will take place on Saturday March 8th, at the combined St Matthew's Episcopal/Wilton Presbyterian Church complex, 36 New Canaan Rd., Wilton. If you're not familiar with these events, they are intended to introduce the pipe organ to the general public ... primarily to children, though in our experience adults are every bit as fascinated in its complexities as youngsters. This time around, the leaders will again be Chapter dean Steve Lewis and Alma Hamilton, and we welcome assistance from chapter members.
Most important of all, we need participants! Please pass this information to your children's choir members, parents' groups, students, school classes, anyone you can think of. It's helpful if we have potential numbers ahead of time so that we have materials ready, but walk-ins are always welcomed.
The date is Saturday March 8th; the time is 11 am - 1 pm; the address is the Wilton Episcopal Presbyterian Complex, 36 New Canaan Rd., Wilton. We will include names of our substitutes (and update on a regular basis) in the Membership section of this website. If you are in need of a sub, you have two options:
1) call someone directly using the directory to find contact information
2) send the intake form (with information) to Jayson and this will be e-mailed to the entire sub list.
Should you require a substitute (vacation, study leave, illness, etc.), please use the SUBSTITUTE INTAKE FORM (fill in as much information as you can) and your date(s) will be e-mailed to our entire sub list. Available subs will be in touch, directly, to work out details. Should you hear of an institution needing a sub (and/or permanent organist), please share this with the FWAGO board via firstname.lastname@example.org
